Trail Ride FAQs

What to Know Before You Go

Our trail rides are designed to be safe, fun, and scenic — perfect for riders of all skill levels. But like any mountain adventure, a little preparation goes a long way in making the most of your experience. From what to wear to how we select the right horse for you, we’ve put together answers to the most common questions to help you feel confident, comfortable, and ready for the ride ahead.

  • Do I need horseback riding experience?

Not at all! Our horses are gentle and experienced, and we tailor each ride to your comfort level.

  • What should I bring?

Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. We also recommend a water bottle, sunscreen, and a light jacket — mountain weather can change quickly.

  • Can kids join the ride?

Yes, trail rides are family-friendly! We’ll discuss age and size during booking to make sure it’s a safe fit.

  • Are meals included?

Meals are not included for day rides, but we’re happy to recommend local spots or help you plan for a trail lunch.

  • Can we book a private ride?

Absolutely — private rides are a great option for couples, families, or those looking for a more personal experience.
